Welcome Again: Mr. Ford

Welcome again, Mr. Joseph Ford.
“I teach classroom music (grades preK-5) and English to Speakers of Other Languages at McGraw. I had the privilege of working at McGraw last year through BOCES and am happy to be with McGraw full time this year. I am especially excited to be teaching piano to the elementary school students in the new piano lab!
I grew up in Kentucky and California, but moved to New York in 2001 for graduate school. My undergraduate degree is in music education from University of the Pacific. I have graduate degrees in music performance from Ithaca College and teaching students with disabilities from SUNY Cortland. I am also the music director at Homer Congregational Church. I live in Cortland with my wife and two sons. In addition to music, I enjoy cooking and running.”
