Welcome New Teacher: Mrs. Burhans

Mrs. Danielle Burhans is a Special Ed Teacher at the Elementary School.  She says, “I have my Bachelors in Early childhood education from Cortland and am currently pursing my masters in teaching students with disabilities at Cortland.  I worked for 4 years as a teaching assistant at BOCES.  This is my first teaching job :)” 

Mrs. Burhans is from Homer NY.  Her family consists of her husband, who she just married last October; her husky, Denali; and cat, Izzy.  In her free time she enjoys spending time on the lake with her family and friends.  An interesting fact about Mrs. Burhans is she has taught snowboarding lessons for 10 years.
