Welcome New Teacher: Mrs. Vianos

"My name is Rachael Vianos, known as Mrs. V to my students. I am a Special Education Teacher at McGraw Elementary School. I was a substitute teacher for McGraw Central Schools for several years, and have also taught in the OCM BOCES special education programs. I obtained my dual degree in education from SUNY Cortland in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. I am a New York State Certified Teacher in Birth-6th grade and also have my Students with Disabilities certificate to teach students 1st-6th grade. I have previously worked as a tutor, soccer coach, and was also a private preschool teacher in Arizona. I have a passion for teaching children with Autism, and love teaching literacy as well!"

"I have lived all over the country, but spent most of my childhood in Virginia. I am lucky to have a very loving and supportive family. My parents are both educators and I have the sweetest little brother and sister who are in elementary school. I met my husband in high school when living in Lake Havasu City, AZ and we have been together for 8 years. He is an Army Veteran (Military Police) and is going back to school to become a Fire Fighter. I love animals, and we have a black lab (Shiloh), a pit bull (Luna), and a big fat cat (Catniss). I love to sing, dance, read, and watch movies with my husband in my spare time. I am so proud to be an educator in this community, GO EAGLES!"
