Welcome Miss Granteed

Welcome Nicole Granteed to McGraw Elementary as the PK-4th Grade School Counselor.  She hails from Liverpool, NY.  She attended SUNY Oswego for her undergrad, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Human Development. While at Oswego, she worked as a direct care worker at the YMCA, which worked directly with special needs. After graduation she decided to further her education at Syracuse University and pursued a master’s degree in School Counseling.  Her internship placements were at Expeditionary Learning Middle School in Syracuse, and Morgan Road Elementary in Liverpool. While pursuing her degree, she worked as a toddler teaching assistant at the Gingerbread House, and was a substitute teacher in the Syracuse City School District.

Nicole has a close knit family that consists of older sisters, Megan and Kelly; brothers-in-law, John and Mark; and parents, Patty and Joe.  She says, “There was a new addition to our family in January when my oldest sister, Megan had my niece, Ellie, and it is safe to say we are all obsessed with her.  Becoming an aunt has been the greatest gift!”

In her free time Nicole really enjoys going out to dinner and trying new places around town with her friends and family.  Also, traveling is a passion, and she hopes to make it to all 50 states!
