Summer Rainforest

Week 2 of Summer Adventure was full of rainforest and ocean activities.  To start the week, the fourth and fifth graders learned about the 4 layers of the rainforest and made a life-like rainforest to walk through.  The humid hot temperatures helped the rainforest feel even more real.  Then each student researched a rainforest animal.  The students learned about the 5 oceans and tracked sharks.  To end the week, we made aquarium snacks.
