Welcome Ms. Daley

Welcome Ms. Jordan Daley to McGraw High School.  She is the new Spanish teacher from Skaneateles, New York.  Ms. Daley received her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Le Moyne College.  During that time she studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and taught English at a vocational school.   She then completed her Master's Degree in Adolescent Education (Spanish and Special Education) from LeMoyne College.  She student-taught as a Spanish Teacher at Chestnut Hill Middle School in Liverpool, and as a Resource Teacher at Grant Middle School in the Syracuse City School District.  Immediately after graduating, she was the long term sub for a Spanish Teacher in Skaneateles, but this will be her first full time teaching job!  Ms. Daley is so excited to work at McGraw.  She says, “Being from a small town, I am very excited to work at a small school!  I look forward to meeting all of my coworkers and students!”

In her free time, Ms. Daley loves spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoys going on her boat in the summer, as well as kayaking and paddle boarding.  She loves riding her bike or roller blading on the Erie Canal.  She also loves to cook.  Her mom is a preschool teacher and her dad is a manufacturer's representative.  She has an older brother, Kieran, who is 26 and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, a younger brother, Christian, who is 21 and a senior at Le Moyne College, and a sister, Jocie, who is 15 and a sophomore at Skaneateles High School.  Last Christmas the family rescued a Jack Russell Terrier puppy named Winnie, and Ms. Daley thinks she’s "absolutely adorable!"  They enjoy taking walks together.
