Welcome Ms. Williams

Welcome Ms. Taylar Williams to McGraw Elementary as a Universal Pre-Kindergarten teacher for 3-4 year olds.  Ms. Williams is from Homer NY, where she grew up with her parents and a brother and sister.  She graduated from Homer Schools and received a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Cortland in Early Childhood and Childhood Education.  Ms. Williams is passionate about bringing outdoor education into the classroom for young children.  She is currently completing a Master’s in Literacy Education, also at SUNY Cortland.  Someday she hopes to obtain a PhD in development psychology. 

Outside of school she is constantly trying to learn new things.  She enjoys working out and doing CrossFit.  Ms. Williams, her boyfriend, Mike, and their two dogs, Kenai and Meeka, currently live in Cortland.  They spend a lot of time together with good friends and family. They like to hike and adventure new places. 

Ms. Williams says, “I am thrilled to be a part of such an amazing community of educators, students, and families and I am looking forward to a great school year and welcoming a new pre-K group to McGraw!”
