Welcome Mr. Andrews, Teacher

Welcome Mr. Bradley Andrews to McGraw Elementary School as a First Grade Teacher this year.  He previously worked in first grade and special education in the Cato-Meridian school district and for OCM BOCES. He has also been a coach for several sports teams at Cato and other districts. Mr. Andrews earned a bachelor's degree in sports communication from Ithaca College, but after a career as a sportswriter he returned to graduate school and earned a master's in teaching from SUNY Cortland.

Mr. Andrews is originally from Candor, NY.  His family includes wife, Jessica, and two sons, Lukas, an 11-year-old sixth-grader who loves baseball, and Adam, a two-year-old who loves dinosaurs and animals.  In his free time Mr. Andrews likes to read, spend time with his family, coach his son's baseball team, and watch sports - especially the Buffalo Bills.  An interesting fact about Mr. Andrews is that he was captain of the varsity rowing team at Ithaca College.

He says, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to teach at McGraw Elementary. Everybody I have met so far has been so welcoming. McGraw is truly a special place and I can't wait to work in this incredible community.”
