Employment Opportunities

McGraw Central School District is conveniently located in Cortland County between Syracuse and Binghamton. The district has two academic buildings and houses approximately 575 students.  Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 5 are situated in the elementary building and Grades 6-12 are in the MS/HS building. In addition, the district maintains its own transportation department and bus fleet.

NYS Birth-Grade 6 Literacy Certified Teacher will be  responsible for all aspects of literacy instruction  including but not limited to the development and implementation of Next Generation Learning Standards/Curriculum, instruction, assessment, student supervision, home/school communication, etc. Serve as collegial team member in a dynamic PK-5 educational setting.  Participate in Child Study Teams to review student data for the purpose of providing interventions strategies to struggling learners. Maintain student records consistent with State and Federal regulations. Perform other duties as required.

BUS DRIVER - Training Provided Love to drive and spend time with children? This is the job for you. How much driving you do is up to you: regular runs, field trips, and/or sports runs. Paid training is reimbursed after six months. Is a holiday coming up?  No worries – it’s paid. Schools out and so are you.  We follow the school schedule.  Make a change in a child’s life by taking them to and from school in the coolest ride around – CDL Class B!  Submit a letter of interest,

If you are at least 21 yrs old, have a driver's license, and like working with kids, we will train you!  We can get you ready for your road test.  No experience necessary, but it's always appreciated.

Substitutes needed to assist students while being transported.  Training provided. Complete both the supplemental application and the Civil Service application Include with

Responsible for building medical needs.  Called on an as needed basis.  Complete  the Civil Service Application. Include copy of nursing license. Include with

RN  - $120/day
LPN - $100/day
