Employment Opportunities

McGraw Central School District is conveniently located in Cortland County between Syracuse and Binghamton. The district has two academic buildings and houses approximately 575 students.  Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 5 are situated in the elementary building and Grades 6-12 are in the MS/HS building. In addition, the district maintains its own transportation department and bus fleet.

New York State Certification in Students with Disabilities (SWD) Grades 1 - 6 OR K - 12. 
Responsible for all aspects of teaching including but not limited to the development and implementation of Next Generation Learning Standards/Curriculum, instruction, assessment, student supervision, home/school communication, etc. Serve as collegial team member in a dynamic K-5 educational setting. Provide instruction to elementary students with IEP’s. Maintain student records consistent with State and Federal regulations. Perform other duties as required.

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS Looking for a good paying part-time job with the same days off as the kids?

If you are at least 21 yrs old, have a driver's license, and like working with kids, we will train you!  We can get you ready for your road test.  No experience necessary, but it's always appreciated.

Full Time  - full benefits and 15 hours work per week

Bus Monitor

Substitutes needed to assist students while being transported.  Training provided. Complete both the supplemental application and the Civil Service application Include with 
Civil Service Application , a letter of interest, and 3 current references.
School Nurse
Responsible for building medical needs.  Called on an as needed basis.  Complete  the Civil Service Application. Include copy of nursing license. Include with 
Civil Service Application, a letter of interest and 3 current references.
RN  - $120/day
LPN - $100/day

Food Service
Substitutes needed to fill in on an as needed basis.  Include with
