Reading Laura Ingalls Wilder

 
The students in Mrs. Langford and Mrs. Goodwin's co-taught 6-8 Social Studies class have been reading "Little House in the Big Woods" by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This book is helping our students learn about westward expansion and they are really enjoying it!  In the book, the Ingalls family makes apples with cloves as pretty and fragrant holiday decorations. Our students had fun making patterns with cloves and talking about how great these would smell in their homes!
