Welcome Mrs. Skinner, Teacher

Welcome Mrs. Amanda Skinner (formerly Miss Amanda Fox) to McGraw Elementary.  She is teaching a Pre-Kindergarten class of 3-year-olds. She graduated from SUNY Cortland last year with a bachelor's degree in childhood/early childhood education.  Mrs. Skinner worked for three years as a head teacher at a childcare center.
 
Mrs. Skinner is a native of DeRuyter, New York who loves to spend time with her new husband and dogs hiking and enjoying other outdoor activities.  She has a small family who all live nearby.  She remarks, “We get together for almost every holiday and have a great time!”
 
Mrs. Skinner says that an interesting fact about her is that she is working towards becoming an Adirondack 46er – someone who has hiked all 46 high peaks in the Adirondack Mountains!
