Congratulations to the McGraw Lego teams for their outstanding participation in the Lego League competition at Ray Middle School in Baldwinsville! Both teams- Coral Eagles and McGraw Eco, did an amazing job in the competition- with excellent presentations and strategic robotic game missions.
Both teams scored very well competing against 23 other teams! I am so proud of our students and their excellent sportsmanship, perseverance, and presentation skills. Other judges commended our teams on their performances and gave McGraw high praise. Thank you to the coaches- Mrs. Whitney, Mrs. Cornell, Ms. Erxleben, and Mr. King for their unending positivity and constant coaching skills- pushing our students out of their comfort zone and constantly driving for excellence.
I'm excited to share that both teams were nominated for awards this year- not an easy feat- and both scored in the top half of the teams! The Coral McGraw team won the Engineering Award and was one of the top 5 teams to have the opportunity to move on to the next competition in Buffalo. This is the best showing for our Lego teams!
Again- I am so proud of both teams. Way to go Eagles!
