About Me: Mrs. Dimorier
I am very happy that I returned to my hometown roots to teach. McGraw is a wonderful community to grow up in, and I feel fortunate to be able to now teach here and give back to my community. This is my fifth year teaching. My first teaching position was in Hancock, N.Y. as a third grade teacher. My next two years were spent teaching second grade in Lansing, N.Y. I helped get McGraw's Pre-K program off the ground and running last year and am happy to continue developing it into something truly special.
After graduating as Valedictorian of the class of 2009 at McGraw High School, I attended college at SUNY Fredonia, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education. My education brought me back home, where I attended SUNY Cortland and earned my Master’s Degree in Literacy Education. My certifications are in the areas of: Early Childhood Education (Birth-2nd), Childhood Education (1st-6th), and Literacy Education (Birth-6th).
I recently married my high school sweetheart on July 29, 2017. It was a beautiful summer day and perfect in every way. We spent the past year and a half looking for a perfect home and are now new home owners! What a ride it has been! My husband and I have a 5 year old Border Collie/American Eskimo dog named Samson. He’s so smart and we love him to pieces! Some things I enjoy in my free time are working out, spending time with friends and family, and reading. My favorite foods are sweets, and nothing beats a good combination of chocolate and peanut butter (cake, cupcakes, ice cream . . . you name it).
