About Me: Mrs. Dimorier
3rd Grade Teacher
SOME NEW NEWS!
My husband and I are expecting our first baby this January (2020). It's a girl! We can't wait to meet her and become parents! :) Stay tuned for some photos!
I am very happy that I returned to my hometown roots to teach. McGraw is a wonderful community to grow up in, and I feel fortunate to be able to now teach here and give back to my community. This is my sixth year teaching. My first teaching position was in Hancock, N.Y. as a third grade teacher. My next two years were spent teaching second grade in Lansing, N.Y. For two years after that, I helped get McGraw's Pre-K program off the ground and running. I now have the chance to jump up to third grade where my teaching career began and work with a wonderful team of educators!
After graduating as Valedictorian of the class of 2009 at McGraw High School, I attended college at SUNY Fredonia, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education. My education brought me back home, where I attended SUNY Cortland and earned my Master’s Degree in Literacy Education. My certifications are in the areas of: Early Childhood Education (Birth-2nd), Childhood Education (1st-6th), and Literacy Education (Birth-6th).
My husband and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary in July and our first year of home ownership in September! We have a 6 year old Border Collie/American Eskimo dog named Samson. He’s so smart and we love him to pieces! Some things I enjoy in my free time are working out, spending time with friends and family, and reading. My favorite foods are sweets, and nothing beats a good combination of chocolate and peanut butter (cake, cupcakes, ice cream . . . you name it).
