Mrs. Hughes Physical Education

My name is Taylor Hughes.  A few small facts about me... I am married, I have one beautiful/ energetic son, and have the cutest golden doodle in the world.

Bachelor of Science in Education: Physical Education
@ SUNY Cortland

Masters Degree in Health Education
@ SUNY Cortland

Taught down in Prince George's County in Maryland at Imagine Foundations at Morningside School for 1 year
Then moved back to the area and have been teaching in McGraw since 2013

I have coached modified and JV soccer, modified and Varsity basketball, and modified softball.

We focus on various sports throughout the year as well as the fitness components (musclar strength, muscluar endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and agility).
We are pushing for a fitness mentality because we want students to be fit for life!  We strongly feel we can give them the tools they need to achieve this.  With your help we can encourage healthy lifestyles!

"Physical Education is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity." - John F. Kennedy
"Use your smile to change the world, don't let the world change your smile." Jack Jakubek
